Membership Benefits
Idaho Nordic offers a wide range of activities for all abilities of cross country skiers. An obvious focus on racing and performance skiing the weekly training group is a great resource for new skiers to learn skills and gain fitness to improve their skiing ability.
The Idaho Nordic approach is to remove the barriers between elite level athletes and people simply interested in learning to ski. Our focus is making a very difficult sport into a fun outlet of social interaction and learning. In addition to training, races and clinics, the club offers fun social events throughout the year. Club philanthropy includes donating funds to Team Today (US Ski Team Athletes), Trail Improvement Projects, Ridge to Rivers, Bogus Basin, Bogus Basin Junior Team, Idaho Search & Rescue and Terrace Lakes Ski Program.

Weekly Idaho Nordic Training Group
Dry-land: Wednesday Nights @ 5:45 p.m. - Fort Boise
Sessions begin in July and goes through fall until the snow flies. Lead by Joe Jensen and
other local elite skiers, these are fun sessions that are becoming infamous for the best
workout in town. All level are welcome and there is always someone there that is your level.
On Snow: Wednesday Nights @ 6:15 p.m. - Bogus Basin Nordic Center
Sessions begin when Bogus opens for night skiing. These sessions include technique drills,
intervals and easy distance skiing under the lights with a fun group of people. Again there are always
a wide range of abilities, so you can always find a group your speed.
