Race Results: Holiday 5k Training Race
Thanks to all that participated in the 5k training race. This race featured a individual staggered start @ 15 seconds and all participants were required to predict their finish time at the start line. Fastest Finisher goes to Eric Jensen, and the Nostradamus Award goes to Rose Kemp for perfectly predicting her finish time. After the race lots of quality white elephant gifts were exchanged and traded or stolen and over 1,000 ounces of quality canned and bottled beer was raffled off to lucky winners. For those that missed Race #1 of the Six-Pack Series don’t miss out on these fun training races there will be two more so keep an eye out on the IN website for more info.

Pursuit Race for individuals or teams
Race Date: Sunday, January 2, 2011
Location: TBA. Either Ponderosa State Park or Bear Basin. Venue will be selected based on snow conditions.
Registration: 8:30-10am
Start Times: 10am–1k, 10:30–2k, 11am–5k (a lap of each technique)
Pursuit Race for individuals or teams
Age Divisions Distances & Registration Fee:
1k laps J5-J6 ($10 / skier)
2k laps J3-J4 ($10 / skier)
5k laps J2, J1,OJ ($15 / skier)
5k laps Adults ($20/ skier)
(To cover cost of race & to support MNST programs)
Awards: Age group awards in all classes

Holiday 5k Training Race

Holiday 5k Training Race (Race #1of the 3rd Annual 6-Pack Series)
For this week only Idaho Nordic will move the Wednesday Evening Training Session to Tuesday the 21st and hold a 5k training race. The race will begin @ 6:30 after a 15 minute warm-up. Meet at the Flush exit on the Nordic Highway @ 6:30 ready to Race!
Entry Fee Required to Participate:
A six-pack of beer.
An inexpensive or re-gifted wrapped present or a second six-pack.
Post race we will meet in the lodge for Awards and Gift Exchange.
** Please note: The van will depart from the school at it’s usual week night time. There will NOT be a Wed night workout. **

This is Idaho’s biggest race and one of America’s longest running cross country ski races, so for those of you who have not yet registered for this areas biggest race, it’s not too late to save some entry fee dollars.
The date for this season’s race is February 5th, 2011. See below for entry fee costs and deadlines. Or visit the BMT website below for more information and on-line registration.

Boulder Mountain Tour 32 kilometer – All Waves

Till midnight December 15, 2010 - $75.00
From December 16, 2010 till midnight January, 2011 - $85.00
From January 17, 2011 till midnight February 1, 2011 - $100.00
Age 17 and Under Any Date - $42.00
Half–Boulder 15 kilometer
Adult Entry Fee Any Date - $45.00
Age 17 and Under Any Date - $30.00
Special Incentive Combo Race
