Jug Mountain Ranch Race Results
Posted on January 26th, 2010
Thanks to everyone that participated last Saturday at Jug Mountain. The Ranch Race is truly one of the best ski courses we have and thanks to Gregg Lawley for buffing it out!
Kurt Wolf of McCall skied away from the pack at 2k in and soloed 18 more kilometers to victory.
Jessica Jensen of Boise was able to hold off Carol Severa for the win. The real race of the day was between Jessica, Carol and Jay Pedro. Jay was able to come away with the victory. In an unsportsman like display though, Jay was seen chanting, “In your face”, as Jessica and Carol finished.

Bogus Transportation Survey
Posted on January 5th, 2010
Per Anne Hausrath:
The Community Planning Association of Southwest Idaho (COMPASS) and Valley Regional Transit have teamed up to develop and implement a plan to improve access to the Bogus Basin Recreation area. The two agencies are assisted by a steering committee put together by the Bogus Basin Recreation Association. We have developed a survey to gain a better understanding of transportation preferences to Bogus Basin, as well as look at the possibilities of alternative transportation options. If you visit Bogus Basin in the winter, please fill out the Bogus Basin Travel Survey to help us learn how people travel to and from the Bogus Basin Recreation area. You can access the survey by clicking the following link http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/CJN657S.
Please forward this email to others who visit Bogus Basin in the winter so that we may hear from as many individuals as possible. Thank you. See the attached newsletter for more information. For questions, Contact Walt Satterfield at wsatterfield@compassidaho.org or 208/855-2558 x238.
