Idaho Nordic Group Ski - Dec 20th and 27th.

Meet out front of Frontier Pointe Lodge at 9:30am on Sunday, December 20th and again on December 27th.
Group will do an easy ski. This is not a clinic but we may do a few drills to warm-up.

Joe will bring this to ski training.
1st come, 1st serve - bring cash or check. You will be not be allowed to take items with an I.O.U.

Tuesday and Wednesday this week - Simplot Soccer

We will ski in some tracks for classic skiing at the Simplot Soccer Fields off of Federal Way. (Another Argument Against Skate Skiers Only - A.A.A.S.S.O.)
There will be NO dryland sessions at Fort Boise this week.
Tuesday - 5:45pm - Classic Interval Workout - 4-6*3min
Wednesday - 5:45pm - Poling Strength Workout - Single Stick, Crunch Pole, Double Pole
If you have not been on snow yet just come out and double pole or classic ski.
FYI..Bogus only got 1/2″ out of this storm.

Studebaker 60th in World Cup Opener

Also - Yesterday Tim Burke scored a historic 2nd place. The best placing ever by an American in a World Cup.
We have yet to see what Idaho Nordic’s Paul Jozwik would do on the World Cup Stage. Coming off of his historic result in the Ski Shootout in West Yellowstone, we know this homegrown prodigy will go onto to do great things in the sport of biathlon. Paul remarkably shot clean at targets 5 yards out and skied a blistering pace in the 1 km competition. It was explained later to Paul that the targets are 55 meters away and the skiers complete 10 to 20 km in real biathlon races.

Let Boise’s finest traditional musicians - The Giant Leprechauns and Hokum Hi-Flyers - take you on a musical tour through time, from the jigs and reels of Ireland, across the Atlantic for Ol’ Time Appalachian fiddle and banjo, and finishing up with some down-home bluegrass.
$10 Admission Adults. Kids half-price.
Directions to IOA Hall: take Vista until you’re nearly at the Airport, then, at the top of the hill, go left (East) on Sunrise Rim Rd., then right on Brazil.
