Thanksgiving Skiing
Posted on November 23rd, 2009
Ketchum: As of last Saturday there was a skate lane from Prairie Creek to Galena. Some Galena trails are groomed. The skiing was excellent on Saturday. Sunday there was about 2″ of powder on the trail but the skiing was still good. info at http://www.bcrd.org/conditions/groomingreport/tabid/178/Default.aspx
DON’T POACH THE TRAIL! BUY A TRAIL PASS! They have numerous pass checkers and you will get caught.
From McCall Nordic:
We have groomed skate skiing and some classic at Bear Basin! Skiing is excellent with about 12 inches of snow and over 6 Kilometers of skiing with more Ks being added everyday. By Thanksgiving Bear Basin plans on having over 10 Kilometers groomed. Make sure to buy the McCall Area Nordic Pass before you head to the trails. The quality of the grooming this year is dependent upon us selling these passes. Pondersosa plans on grooming the same as last year as does Jug Mountain Ranch and the Activity Barn. So get the Pass that works for you, the McCall Area Pass. Visit www.mccallnordic.com for information on the pass, grooming updates and more.
