FORECAST: (NOAA)
Saturday: A 50 percent chance of snow. Cloudy, with a high near 26. West southwest wind between 7 and 9 mph.
Saturday Night: A 20 percent chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 14. South southwest wind around 7 mph.
Sunday: A 20 percent chance of snow showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 23.
SKI SELECTION: medium flex ski
BASE PREP: If your skis have had a warmer wax or have been skied on dirty snow conditions; Clean skis with Swix Base Prep 99 using hot scrape method, let cool, scrape and brush. If skis are already relatively clean just brush 10 strokes with medium bronze brush prior to applying race wax.
STRUCTURE: Fine Linear Structure
GLIDE WAX:
2 options: FAST & SUPER FAST
FAST: SWIX LF6 (10F to 21F)
Super Fast: SWIX HFBD6 (10F to 21F)
Apply race wax SWIX LF7 or SWIX HFBD7. Scrape and brush with Swix Medium Bronze Brush (T0162) 15 strokes. Do final brushing with medium nylon 10 strokes and fine nylon 10 strokes.
